Amber & Tim are Getting Married!

One of the first questions we were asked after telling people we got engaged was "where is it happening"!? Both sides of our family and friend group seemed like they wanted a trip! Italy? Connecticut? England? The options were endless...

Ultimately we landed on the beautiful Tythe Barn in Oxfordshire. The Tythe's tag line is "Elegantly rural. Undeniably fun. You're on Tythe time now." Doesn't that sound like a great place to celebrate a wedding?!

To those flying in, Heathrow Airport provides the easiest landing spot but there are other airports which are not too far away.

In terms of accommodation, the venue has recommended a few hotels or B&Bs to us which you can access at this link. Being near Bicester, there are lots of other options too. We've heard there are some challenges to booking the rooms online (it may be easier to book over the phone) and some do not release rooms until Spring 2025. The venue has ample parking at the front of the venue but The Tythe is also very accessible from all of the local hotels and is close to the busy town of Bicester. So if you want to relax, have a drink or two to celebrate, or maybe just not have to worry about directions while driving, it is suggested that you book a taxi service in the evening ahead of your desired departure.
